2016_7_properties: contains all the mechanical property data of the steel in rolled condition, chemical composition, images of the structure of the steel in the rolled condition (showing the pancaked prior austenite grain structure, calculated martensite-start temperatures. Optical_micrographs: contains all the optical microscopy images for all the heat treatment conditions studied. The sub-folder titles show the austenitisation temperature in centigrade, and austenitisation time, prior to quenching the steel. 190_3hr_tempering contains the micrographs of samples tempered at 190 centigrade following quenching. EBSD_rolled_and_quenched: contains electron-backscattered diffraction (EBSD) results of rolled, and quenched steels. Hardness: Vickers hardness data for various samples Macroscopic_roughness: Roughness data, as described in the publication Movies: movies showing the impeller tumbler test in action other_images: diagrams of impact-tumbler test equipment SEM_images: scanning electron microscopy images are stored here, selected examples of which are in the publication TEM: transmission electron microscopy images of rolled samples, and austenite grain size characterisation Tensile: tensile test results of the rolled, and quenched steels, including fractographs of broken samples Wear_paper: Latex files of publication. Contains source file of the paper, pdf file of the paper, bib file, and figures and data required for the paper. See readme.txt for the details. The paper is available on https://doi.org/10.1016/j.wear.2019.03.028 as an open access publication. Wear_tests_finland: Wear test results from the impact-tumbler. Conducted at Tampere University in Finland. Three_dimensional_characterisation: serial sectioning of an impact-tumbler test sample using focused ion beam and scanning electron microscopy, in order to assess sub-surface damage. Thermo_Calc: thermodynamic phase stability calculations to determine equilibrium phase fractions as a function of chemical composition, temperature and pressure. The calculations are conducted using the commercially available "ThermoCalc" software and TCFE8 database File extensions .csv .pdf, .jpg .png .tif .docx .xlsx .tex .bmp .mp4 .wmv .cls
